Ijlal Haider

Ijlal HaiderIjlal Haider is an Electrical Engineer with an interest in signal processing and machine learning for diagnosis and prediction of neural conditions. During his doctoral research, he mainly worked on predicting Autism at early stages of life by analyzing EEG signals. He is also interested in exploring how effective EEG and fNIRS co-acquisition can be to understand brain activities and conditions.
Prior to his role at RIDDL, he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees, both in Electrical Engineering, from Bangladesh and Pakistan in 2007 & 2012 and taught engineering graduates in various universities in Pakistan. He had also been a visiting researcher at the University of Glasgow, UK and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. He volunteered for the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers (IEEE) in several roles.
