Lien Peters is an Assistant Professor in Learning Disabilities and a member of RIDDL. Her research explores how young children develop reading and arithmetic skills, with a focus on the neurocognitive underpinnings of academic performance, risk and protective factors related to learning disorders, and the influence of contextual factors such as the home environment and language.
She is also affiliated with the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Ghent (HOGENT), where she contributes to practice-based research at the Research Centre for Learning in Diversity.
