Sarah Urban

Sarah UrbanSarah Urban obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in the UGent in 2023. During her studies, she wrote her master thesis about the associations between the early language skills of preschoolers at elevated likelihood for autism and their later adaptive functioning. She did her clinical internship in a residential setting for children and adolescents with autism and/or vulnerabilities for psychosis.
She now works as a PhD student in the Research in Developmental Diversity Lab (RiDDL) within the AHLPACA project (AHLPACA = Association between the Home Learning environment and Pre-Academic Competencies in Autism). In this project the Home Learning Environment of autistic preschoolers is researched and how the learning development of these children can be stimulated in the home environment is explored.
