Jan Algoed


Jan Algoed holds a Master of Germanic Philology. He started working as a copywriter in 1984 and is still working in advertising as of today. In 1994, he discovered the internet and never has stopped honing his digital marketing skills since.

The largest part of his career so far, he’s been working mainly as an online creative director for BBDO for numerous brands (including Volvo, Pepsi, Telenet, Base, Proximus, Sony Mobile, …). He is also been working as a creative director for a digital content crew called Linkman, developing online communication strategies for Miele, Zalando, Niko, Artsen zonder Grenzen, … Since August 2017, he’s Chief of digital stuff at Havas working a.o. for Soubry, Luminus, ING, Ferrero, Inno, …

He also holds the belief that the time has come to share his experience and insights with young people aspiring to work in marketing communication.
