Gary Yang is a former member of CIMS. He is also affiliated with the Institute of Social Research and Cultural Studies at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. Gary holds two master’s degrees in Radio and Television in NTUA, and Educational Policy and Administration in NTNU.
The PhD project he worked on focused on exploring the reception of Chinese Films & Videos by Overseas Chinese, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Stijn Joye, Prof. Dr. Daniël Biltereyst, and Prof. Dr. Eduard Cuelenaere. More specifically, Yang focused on the differences between the generation’s relationship with young people and their parents.
