As a PhD candidate at CIMS, he focuses on the representation of disability on Flemish television. Specifically, the first stage of his research project analyses how disabled characters are represented in fictional Flemish television programmes between 2001 and 2025. In a later phase, the research project aims to focus on the production aspect of such programmes and the practices and tactics that inform and create disability representations in Flemish television fiction.
