Jachin Van Doninck

Jachin Van Doninck studied law at Ghent University (lic.jur. 2001) and the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (MUST-programme 2001).  In 2020, he obtained a Joint PhD at Ghent University and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel on the fate of unlawful evidence under the supervision of Piet Taelman and Bruno Maes.

Jachin is currently an associate professor at the Department of Private and Economic Law (PREC) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where he teaches civil procedure, private international law and ADR.

He has been a lawyer at the Brussels bar since 2001 (Arcas Law), is a member of the advisory committee on judicial law of the Order of Flemish Bars and is a member of the editorial board of Rechtskundig Weekblad.
