Short Bio

Jachin Van Doninck studied law at Ghent University (lic.jur. 2001) and the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (MUST-programme 2001).  In 2020, he obtained a Joint PhD at Ghent University and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel on the fate of unlawful evidence under the supervision of Piet Taelman and Bruno Maes.

Jachin is currently a lecturer (tenure track) at the Department of Private and Economic Law (PREC) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where he teaches civil procedure, private international law and ADR.

He has been a lawyer at the Brussels bar since 2001 (Arcas Law), is a member of the advisory committee on judicial law of the Order of Flemish Bars and is a member of the editorial board of Rechtskundig Weekblad.
