Seminar on the lessons from the ELI/Unidroit Model European Rules of Civil Procedure from a Belgian perspective

Together with his VUB colleague Jachin Van Doninck, Wannes Vandenbussche organized on Friday 2 June 2023 a highly topical closed seminar on the merits of the European Law Institute (ELI) and UNIDROIT Model European Rules of Civil Procedure from a Belgian perspective.

All Belgian university professors of civil procedure contributed, with a high number of research scholars attending as well.
Under the presidency of first president of the Court of cassation Beatrijs Deconinck and prof. Piet Taelman, this resulted in very rewarding exchanges and reflections.

A written account of the findings will appear in a Belgian bilingual law journal in the autumn.
