SOUNDlab has a combination of facilities to assess sound exposure and its impact both in the field and in the lab, and to study human hearing and sound processing by the brain using pre-clinical and innovative techniques as well as standardised methods.

SOUNDlab’s mission is to advance research and innovation in acoustics, hearing, balance, and speech communication sciences.
By combining cutting-edge acoustic measurement and simulation, hearing technology, clinical expertise, and interdisciplinary collaboration, we provide state-of-the-art infrastructure and services to support academic, clinical, industrial partners as well as policy makers and governmental bodies.
