For Bachelor’s programmes, Master’s programmes, the specific teacher training programmes, preparatory programmes and linking programmes:

The enrolment period is from 1 July until 30 September.

In exceptional cases, late enrolments are allowed:

For Bachelor’s programmes, Master’s programmes, preparatory programmes and linking programmes:

  • From 1 October, you must request the Curriculum Committee permission to enrol late through OASIS. The Curriculum Committee may deny you to take up particular course units in your curriculum.
  • From 15 November, you must request the Curriculum Committee permission to enrol late through OASIS, in consideration of the restrictive condition – except if you intend to change study programmes within Ghent University – that the curriculum cannot under any circumstances contain first-term course units. Moreover, the Curriculum Committee may deny you to take up particular course units in your curriculum.
  • From 1 March, no enrolments are accepted.

For Advanced Master’s programmes and the specific teacher training programmes:

  • From 1 October, you must request the Curriculum Committee permission to enrol late through OASIS. The Curriculum Committee may deny you to take up particular course units in your curriculum.
  • From 1 March, no enrolments are accepted.

Credit contract

First-term course units

For first-term course units, students may enrol from 1 July until 30 September.
In exceptional cases, late enrolments are allowed:

  • From 1 October, you must request the Curriculum Committee permission to enrol late through OASIS. .
  • From 15 November, no enrolments are accepted.

Full-year course units

For full-year course units, you can enrol from 1 July until 30 September.
In exceptional cases, late enrolments are allowed:

  • From 1 October, you must request the Curriculum Committee permission to enrol late through OASIS. .
  • From 1 March, no enrolments are accepted.

Second-term course unit

For second-term course units, you can enrol from 1 July until 28 February.

From 1 March, no enrolments are accepted.

Postgraduate study programmes, predoctoral training programmes and permanent training programmes

The enrolment period for postgraduate study programmes, predoctoral training programmes and permanent training programmes is determined by the Faculty.

From 1 March, no enrolments are accepted for postgraduate programmes and predoctoral training programmes.

Timeliness

The timeliness to enrol is determined by the date on which you report to the Registrar’s Office of the Department of Educational Policy with the required permissions and authorizations (either in person, or electronically).
