Hearing support in Auditorium Leon De Meyer

Thanks to the Sennheiser MobileConnect system, people with hearing impairments can receive amplified audio from an event or lecture in the Leon De Meyer auditorium via their hearing aid or headphones.

Install the app

Download and install the Sennheiser MobileConnect app on your smartphone in advance. You can find this free app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Procedure in the auditorium

1. Connect your smartphone to the Eduroam Wi-Fi network.
2. Connect your smartphone to your hearing aid or headphones via Bluetooth. For the best experience, switch off ambient sound amplification so that you are listening only to the sound from your smartphone.
3. Open the Sennheiser MobileConnect app on your smartphone:
   1. Scan the QR code in the auditorium. The QR code in the De Meyer Auditorium only grants access to the hearing support system in this lecture theatre.
   2. Ask the instructor for the PIN code. For privacy reasons, the PIN code is automatically updated every 24 hours, or manually by the next instructor.
   3. Enter the PIN code.
   4. If necessary, adjust the tone and volume further.
