Microsoft 365

The Microsoft 365 software platform (or “M365 Copilot”) is available to all Ghent University students.

Microsoft school account

ICT automatically creates a Microsoft school account for all students. This gives you access to a specific number of Microsoft applications and cloud services with your Ghent University account, such as the classic Office programmes, Teams, SharePoint, 1 TB of storage space in OneDrive, etc.

Do you also have a personal Microsoft account (e-mail address ending in for example outlook.com)? If so, always use your Ghent University e-mail address and password to log in for Ghent University-related school activities.

  1. Go to https://m365.cloud.microsoft/apps
  2. Log in with your Ghent University e-mail address and password

Install software

You can also install Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. on your hard drive. To do so, go to the blue "Install apps" button > "Microsoft 365 apps" in the top right corner.
