Dr. Hailei Zhang

Biography:
Dr. Hailei Zhang is a visiting scientist in the Supramolecular Chemistry (SC) group since February, 2023. He is an associated professor (permanent position) at the College of Chemistry and Environmental Science, Hebei University in China. He completed his BSc. (2010), MSc. (2013) and Ph.D. (2017) in Hebei University, under the supervision of Prof. Xinwu Ba. He had been a recipient of the following fundings: National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Scholarship Council, Natural Science Foundation of Hebei Province and Foundation of Hebei Education Department. He is interested in stimuli-responsive materials and surface modification of nano-clays. He has published more than 20 peer reviewed papers as First / Corresponding author in Chemical Engineering Journal, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Chemical Communications, Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, ACS Applied Nano Materials, Polymer Chemistry, Applied Clay Science, etc., and has been a Guest Editor in Gels (Basel, Switzerland) from 2022.
Research project:
His current work is focused on the development of stimuli-responsive materials and surface modification of nano-clays.
