Peitao Yu

Biography:

Peitao Yu is a Ph.D. researcher in the Supramolecular Chemistry (SC) group since she obtained her master degree in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Guangzhou Institute of Chemistry, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, (China) in July 2020. Peitao obtained her CSC scholarship in 2021 and started her research at Ghent University at the end of 2021.

Research project:

Peitao's research project focuses on responsive supramolecular hydrogels, mainly focusing on the reaction of PiPOx with multiple carboxylic acid crosslinkers. Responsive hydrogels assembled through covalent and non-covalent interactions (hydrogen bonding, metal coordination, etc.) will be explored for applications in biomedicine, drug release and other fields.
