Submission details

Abstracts for the ANSER 2026 Conference should be submitted by November 30th, 2025. Submissions will only be accepted when submitted via this form. Please read this abstract submission guidelines before submitting to ensure you have all the necessary information ready for the submission form.

Types of submissions

  1. Poster Presentations

    Present your research findings, project outcomes or impactful ideas visually on a printed paper poster.

    Once accepted, the posters will be displayed on the venue's walls for all participants to view throughout the event. During the poster fair, presenters will give a 3-minute pitch to highlight the importance of their topic or intervention. The fair also includes time for discussion and Q&A between presenters and participants. At the end of the conference, participants will vote for the poster that most convinced them. The winning entry will receive the ANSER 2026 Poster Award.

    Technical requirements:

    - Format: A0

    - Orientation: portrait

    - Language: English

    - Printing: All poster presenters are required to bring their own printed A0 poster to the conference. Printing services will not be provided on-site.

  2. Individual Abstracts

    Present your research findings, project outcomes or impactful ideas through a 20-minute oral presentation.

    Once accepted, your presentation will be grouped with other individual abstracts on related topics to form a thematic session. This format allows for deeper exploration and exchange among presenters and participants.

    Each presentation will be followed by a Q&A session, offering an opportunity to engage with the audience.

    Technical requirements:

    - Duration: 20 minutes per presentation

    - Format: combined individual presentations with a joint Q&A

    - Language: English

  3. Panel Discussions

    Panel discussions offer a space for multiple speakers to explore a specific SRHR topic in depth. This format encourages interaction between presenters and participants, fostering rich discussion and shared learning.

    Each session lasts 60 minutes and should be carefully curated to reflect a coherent theme. The abstract must clearly outline the topic, the moderator, the relevance of each speaker, and what the intended outcomes are.

    Technical requirements:

    - Duration: 75 minutes

    - Format: multi-speaker session with moderator

    - Language: English

  4. Workshops

    Workshops are interactive sessions designed to build skills, share practical insights, and engage participants in group activities or discussions. They provide a dynamic environment for experiential learning and collaboration.

    Each workshop lasts 60 minutes. The abstract should clearly describe the learning objectives, session content, and the methodology used to engage participants.

    Technical requirements:

    - Duration: 75 minutes

    - Format: interactive session

    - Language: English

Conference themes

Every submission should be linked to one of the three themes of the ANSER 2026 Conference:

  • Ensuring SRHR in Humanitarian and Climate-Related Crises
  • Shaping SRHR narratives and addressing power dynamics
  • Strengthening SRHR in Primary Care and Health Systems

Review criteria

Abstracts for the ANSER 2026 Conference will be reviewed by an expert committee and evaluated based on scientific soundness, innovative and inspirational value, relevance to the conference theme, and policy relevance.

Participation and financial information

The ANSER 2026 Conference organisers do not provide financial support for travel or accommodation, nor do they offer fee reductions for speakers.
