Abdurrahman Yunus

Abdurrahman holds a Master degree in Agronomy from Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria. The theme of the thesis was ‘’Generation of Genetic Coefficients for Simulation Using CROPGRO Model for Cowpea in Northern Nigeria’’. Currently a PhD student in the Precision Scoring group at the University of Ghent. The current topic is ‘’Optimizing Site-Specific Irrigation through Integration of Multispectral Remote Sensing, Proximal Soil Sensing, IoT and Machine Learning Techniques’’ mainly interested in wastewater reclamation and reuse for real-time irrigation system. His fields of interest include proximal soil sensing, prediction models and irrigation mapping.
