Baraa Almoujahed

Mhd Baraa Almoujahed holds a BSc degree in agricultural engineering from Damascus University. He was an Erasmus Mundus Master’s scholar who holds a double Masters degree in Plant Health/Crop Protection from the Technical University of Valencia (UPV) in Spain, and from the University of Göttingen in Germany. During his Master, he has developed certain skills in plant disease control, molecular phytopathology, and mycotoxin. Baraa is currently a PhD student in the Precision Scoring research group, working on a detection and simulation system for infield spatial distribution of Fusarium head blight disease (FHB), and mycotoxin (Deoxynivalenol) contamination of cereals at pre-harvest and post-harvest.
