About

In June 2013, Marlies Volckaert graduated at the faculty of Bio-Science engineering with a master in forest and nature management. She volunteered on the WWF Youth Internship Programme in Madagascar and worked for WWF-Belgium as a kids program officer. In November 2015 she returned to university to work on supply chain modelling of forest products supported by spatial information systems. As a teaching assistant she provides practical courses on teledetection, GIS and wood anatomy.
