Learning Path Food Banks / Leerpad Voedselbanken
Volunteers and social workers in food banks or charitable associations can be trained on food safety in an accessible way through this learning path.
To develop a tailor-made learning path, we collaborated with the Belgian Federation of Food Banks. The importance of food safety and the necessary guidelines are included in this training. Anyone who thoroughly goes through all the themes on the learning path is ready to participate in a food bank or charitable association.
The learning path was made possible thanks to funding from Rotary Club Gent's ROSA Prize 2021. Liesbeth Jacxsens and Mieke Uyttendaele received this award for their research into food donations, and thus their contribution to the fight against poverty.
