Project funding
Between 2007 and 2018, 18,3 million euro was acquired by members of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences for projects in development collaboration.
Worldwide network
The network includes countries in Africa (Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Morroco, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia), Latin America (Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Peru) and Asia (Bangladesh, Cambodja, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Vietnam) as demonstrated in the worldwide network map.
Research and publications
More than 230 publications related to topics in development collaboration were written by VCO members in the last 10 years. More information.
PhD-students
In total 30 PhDs with a topic related to development collaboration were granted between 2007 and 2018, with 26 PhD student from developing countries and 4 Belgian PhD students.
MSc students
In total 35 MSc theses with a topic related to development collaboration were written between 2007 and 2018, with about half of the students traveling abroad.
