Biography

Miguel Meuleman is Full Professor Entrepreneurship at Vlerick Business School and Visiting Professor at Imperial College Business School and Ghent University. He is specialised in the areas of entrepreneurial finance and entrepreneurial buyouts. His research has been published in a.o. Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Management Studies and the Academy of Management Perspectives. He’s part of the editorial board of Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice. He teaches entrepreneurship, venture capital & growth finance, entrepreneurial buyouts and new business development. He has a passion for entrepreneurship education and has launched several projects to make entrepreneurship education more effective. He has written several teaching cases and has been involved in numerous consulting projects in the context of new business development.

He is promoter of Ph.D. students Tom Beernaert, Gianni Spolverato and Sanhatul Tajrian.
