Biography

Leo SLeo Stimpfletimpfle obtained his master’s degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics in 2016. He is currently a PhD candidate working on climate regulation and firm behaviour under the supervision of prof. dr. Klaas Mulier and prof. dr. Marten Ovaere. His research is focussed on the application of quantitative methods to microeconomic data to draw causal conclusions on the effectiveness of climate regulation and its impact on firms. Prior to joining the University of Ghent, Leo has worked as an actuary in the financial sector in Germany and the United Kingdom.
