Perspectives

The department is investigating the economic aspects of a number of legislative frameworks. This has already resulted in significant and policy relevant projects on the composition and the divorce law. Specific sub-themes are

• The behavior of priority creditors under a court agreement ;
• The debt dynamics for the application of the composition and the role of the government in this dynamic ;
• The effects of unilateral divorce (without debts) on the divorce negotiations and the quality of life of the partners after divorce.
