Marjolein Coulier

Marjolein obtained her Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Care from Ghent University in 2023 and joined the Laboratory of Toxicology in September 2024. Her research focuses on developing and implementing bioassays for the in vitro pharmacological characterization of new psychoactive substances, including (semi-synthetic) cannabinoids, and on advancing the understanding of the pharmacology of the understudied 5-HT₇ receptor.
