Online Research Day 2021

Because we want to continue to encourage sharing knowledge, including in corona times, the Research Day will be fully online on 25 March 2021. You can expect an exciting programme and, as a highlight, two keynote lectures on COVID-19.

The Research Day is an initiative of the Scientific Research Committees and the Student Councils of the Faculties of Medicine and Health Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Veterinary Medicine.

Apply for 1' elevator pitch presentation

As an Honours Programme, Master thesis or PhD student of one of the participating faculties, you can present your research by means of an elevator pitch of maximum 1 minute (pre-recorded - in English). You may use one slide.

The first 120 submitted videos will be placed on a publicly accessible online forum. The best 40 clips will be streamed during the Research Day.

  • Submit a recorded 1' elevator pitch between 12 Februari 2021 and 28 February 2021 (23:59). View the practical guidelines on the Research Day UFORA site.
  • In preparation it was possible to attend the online BLITS sessions 'Pitch your research in one minute' and 'How to present your research online?' by The Floor is Yours in February 2021. The recording of this sessions is available on the BLITS information sessions UFORA site.
