This is how we want to bring our mission into practice to realise a relevant contribution to society:  

• We stimulate our students by means of a broad, thorough, up-to-date knowledge and enthuse them on all domains represented in our department.
• We take up an active role to broadly disseminate the societal relevance of our research.
• We are an agile department that stimulates entrepreneurship and takes full advantage of elaborating on the synergies between its strengths.
• Thanks to our facilitating leadership, we create a good and constructive environment for all of our collaborators, regardless of each one’s status.
