The research unit Studies in Performing Arts and Media conducts and stimulates state of the art scholarly and artistic research from historical, intermedial and crosscultural perspectives. S:PAM gathers researchers from various fields of study dealing with the topic of theatre, performance, dance and media art.
Activities
S:PAM activities take place at the intersection of academic research and the performing arts and media practices, including lectures with invited guest speakers, international conferences and symposia, specialist courses for doctoral candidates, and (educational) projects that engage with the cultural sector at large.
