- General and Applied Psychology (PP21)

What does a department do?
The department is the university’s smallest administrative unit. It is responsible for research, teaching, and academic services within its field, and provides advice on faculty members, job openings, and inquiries from the program committee, the faculty council, or the university board.
A department essentially consists of tenured faculty (ZAP), assistant faculty (AAP), administrative and technical staff (ATP), and staff associated with research projects. The chair is elected for a four-year term.
