Maria Manatos
Maria J. Manatos holds a doctoral degree in Management from the ISEG Lisbon School of Economics and Management, University of Lisbon. Her doctoral research discussed the integration of quality management policies and practices in higher education institutions. She is also a researcher at the Centre for Research in Higher Education Policies (CIPES), in Portugal. She has published her work in higher education and quality management journals.
Maria is part-time researcher at CHEGG. She started working in June 2018 on the Database of External Quality Assurance Reports (DEQAR) project. This project is funded under the Erasmus+ programme: key Action 3 – European Forward-Looking Cooperation Projects. The main aim of the DEQAR project is the development of a database that will enhance access to reports and decisions on higher education institutions and/or programmes externally reviewed against the European Standards and Guidelens (ESG). CHEGG is responsible for piloting studies on the use of the database.
