Speech and Language research
The Speech Language Research Unit focuses on advancing the understanding and treatment of speech and language disorders. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, the unit combines cognitive science, clinical expertise, and technological innovation to improve communication outcomes.
Research spans from early diagnostics to therapeutic interventions, addressing challenges such as developmental language disorders, speech production issues, and language comprehension difficulties.
The team employs behavioral assessments, neuroimaging techniques, and data-driven approaches to develop personalized and effective solutions for individuals across the lifespan. Their work contributes to both scientific knowledge and practical applications in healthcare and education.
