The tuition fee consists of the fixed amount and a standard tuition fee + a higher tuition fee set by the faculty.
The tuition can differ from one faculty to another.

EEA-students and categories of non-EEA-students who pay the same tuition fee as EEA-students

The tuition fee consists of the standard tuition fee as for EEA-students (diploma or credit contract):
  • € 245.20 fixed amount + € 11.70 per credit. For 60 credits: € 947.20
  • € 111.90 (flat fee) for students with a study allowance Flemish Community ("Studietoelage Vlaamse overheid")
  1. Citizen from a member state of the European Economic Area. The EEA includes all EU countries plus Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein (EEA-countries)
  2. If you were already enrolled for a programme (diploma contract) before the AY 2017-2018, you pay the standard tuition fee as EEA-students for the maximum duration of your programme plus 1 year. This is not applicable for a credit contract.
    FYI: a Bachelor programme and a Master programme are considered as two different programmes.
