The Ghent Student Council is expanding its deal for weekly biological fruit and vegetable baskets. From now on, not only students can benefit from this healthy deal but also university staff.

Night of the University Museums

To support education and research, Ghent University has gathered several valuable collections. Since this cultural heritage is not well known, Ghent University organizes a Night of the University Museums, on Friday 24 February 2012.

European network of university cities launched

At the end of January 2012 the network ‘EUniverCities’ was launched, creating a platform for knowledge sharing about the cooperation of cities and their universities. Ghent University and the City of Ghent hosted the first meeting.
