Services

Customers from within the university as outside (companies, research institutions, individuals) may rely on Ecochem for a range of analyses on many different kinds of samples. These may include soils, water and wastewater, organs, plants, composts, etc. You can find an overview of our machines and the analyses that can be performed on our Equipment page.

With our advanced techniques and high technological equipment, we can detect very low trace concentrations of elements in samples. Besides our guarantee for accurate analysis backed up by expertise and thorough quality control procedures, we can also provide you with customized advice.

On your request we determine specific parameters on samples. In addition, you may consult us for specific investigations involving qualitative or quantitative detection of substances. We also may perform advanced testing according to your specific demands.

Samples can be brought to the lab or may be sent, accompanied by the order form. The results of the analysis are communicated by email as soon as they are available and checked. The signed written report is sent by regular mail.

For customers within the university, reduced rates are applicable. However, in order to comply for reduced rates, the order has to be made using an internal order form. Reductions also apply for larger numbers of samples.

Opening hours of the lab: every working day between 8.30 - 12:00 and 13:00 - 16:00. During summer, the lab will be closed during the Gentse Feesten.
