The roles of alkali and alkaline earth metallic species (AAEMs) during biomass thermochemical conversion & Biochar production and utilization
(1) The catalysis of intrinsic and extrinsic K and Na on acid-hydrolysis residual (high lignin content) pyrolysis products, especially for the phenolic products.
(2) The effect of leaching pretreatment on biomass physicochemical structure evolution, and the catalysis of intrinsic and extrinsic AAEMs on biomass gasification performance.
(3) The relation between AAEMs content in biomass and ash fusion characteristics, and the effect of AAEMs catalysis on biomass combustion characteristics.
(4) Biochar production, evaluation, modification and subsequent utilization.
