The 72nd International Symposium on Crop Protection takes place on Tuesday 18 May 2021. It will be be hosted in Ghent, Belgium at the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering of Ghent University. The official language of the Symposium is English.


Because of the Coronavirus-crisis the 72nd International Symposium on Crop protection has been postponed from 19 May 2020 to 18 May 2021. Although it is disappointing to have to postpone the symposium, the health of everyone involved in the symposium is of prior importance.  


Programme 72nd ISCP - 18 May 2021

The Symposium will focus on new developments in all aspects of crop protection.

The programme will include a plenary session with three invited speakers and will also include parallel sessions with submitted papers related to the following subjects:

  • Agricultural Entomology and Acarology
  • Nematology
  • Phytopathology
  • Herbology
  • Formulation and Application Technology

  • Pesticide Residues: Toxicology and Ecotoxicology

  • Special session: “Plant health: quarantine and emerging pests, diseases and weeds"
