Jan Devos holds a Master's degree in Engineering Science and Applied Mathematics (KU Leuven, 1984), an MBA (Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School, 1992), and a PhD in Engineering Science (Ghent University, 2011). He is currently Senior Lecturer at Ghent University, Faculty of Architecture and Engineering. He is also associate professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
His current research interests are IT governance in SMEs, design science, IS failures, and IT security. Prof. Devos has published several articles on IT and SMEs and has been a speaker at international academic and business conferences, the proceedings of which have been published in several Springer series by LNBIP and AICT.
