Ria Vandekerckhove obtained a Master's degree in Architecture from the Higher Institute of Architecture in Sint-Lucas Ghent. In addition to her extensive experience as an independent Architect, Ria also has many years of experience in teaching and this in design sketching, scientific drawing, observation drawing, etc. She taught at the Sint-Lucas Academy in Ghent, the Higher Institute of Architecture in Sint-Lucas Ghent, LUCA School of Arts and at the UGent, faculty of Engineering and Architecture / Industrial Design.
