iWISE - Introduction Week(Day) for International Students in Engineering
For whom?
All new international exchange students who start their stay at the faculty in academic year of 2025-2026.
What?
The aim and goals of the iWISE are very clear: to prepare the international engineering students as well as possible to:
- start their studies at our Faculty
(meeting the Chairman of the Faculty Committee for Internationalisation, getting familiar with the e-Learning environment Ufora and other ICT tools, making changes to the LA, meeting the Director Of Studies ...) - get to know the rules and habits of Ghent/Flanders/Belgium
(crash course Dutch, culture shock, mobility and transport) - get to know their fellow students
(lunch, fun activity)
