Easily adapt your 'old' PowerPoint into the new corporate design

Option 1

  • Download presentation - Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (EA)
  • Open the new PowerPoint template (PowerPoint_UGent_EN_EA.potx)
  • Open your old PowerPoint presentation and copy all slides
  • Copy and past them in the new template by choosing 'destination theme' (right mouse click)
  • Check every slide and adjust where needed
  • This is the easiest solution, but if you've used sections in your presentations you will need to add them again or use option 2

Option 2

  • Download presentation - Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (EA)
  • Open your old PowerPoint presentation
  • Select "View" > "Slide Master"
  • Click the option "Themes" > "Browse for themes..."
  • Choose the PowerPoint template in the new corporate design on your computer and confirm with "Apply"

  • Click on all old faculty icons in the template ("purple" color) and delete them. The icons in the new faculty color ("medium sky blue") will appear!

  • Select the button "Close Master View"

  • Check every slide and adjust where needed. It's possible that images used in your presentation are converted back to their original size
