Yana Maudens wins FEARS Interdisciplinarity Award

(13-01-2025) Our colleague Yana Maudens has received the Interdisciplinarity Award at the 2024 Research Symposium of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture UGent (FEARS).

Yana won the award with a poster about her doctoral research on the subject "Biomimicry of Reptile Eggshells Based on Electrospun Keratin Membranes". Prof. Karen De Clerck is promotor of the PhD research. It is a collaboration with the UGent EON research group and the STIIMA-CNR group in Biella (Italy) and funded bij FWO Vlaanderen.
