Research interests
- Use of nanobodies to manipulate (intracellular) protein function, given that pharmacological inhibitors are wanting for the majority of polypeptides.
- Target proteins are involved in cancer, signal transduction or amyloid disorders
- Improvement of nanobody technology by converting nanobodies into a specificity key charged with a payload (antibody drug conjugate) by incorporating non-standard amino acids
