About CETRAS

Centre for Training and Research in Anatomical Science

CETRAS was established in 2012 as a platform - embedded within the academic realm of the Ghent University - for medical professionals, researchers and companies to explore the possibilities and opportunities of training and research in anatomical sciences and related disciplines.

We aim to be a driving force behind future developments in surgical training, optimization of innovative techniques and interdisciplinary collaborations to improve patient outcome.

Our ideal location, situated at the Ghent University Hospital campus, up to date infrastructure and advanced embalming techniques make us a valuable and reliable partner for the organisation of workshops, surgical skills training sessions, anatomical demonstrations and research projects.
