Conditions for exchange during your third bachelor


African Languages and Cultures

  • Have acquired at least 105 ECTS credits of BA1 and BA2 after the resit examination period of the previous year.
  • Have chosen a supervisor and discipline for your bachelor's dissertation before you leave.

Applied Language Studies

  • Have acquired at least 108 ECTS credits of BA1 and BA2 after the resit examination period of the previous year.

Archaeology

  • Have acquired at least 105 ECTS credits of BA1 and BA2 after the resit examination period of the previous year.

Art History, Musicology and Theatre Studies

  • Have acquired at least 105 ECTS credits of BA1 and BA2 after the resit examination period of the previous year.

East European Languages and Cultures

  • Have acquired at least 108 ECTS credits of BA1 and BA2 after the resit examination period of the previous year.
  • Passed Russian III and Bulgarian II.

History

  • Have acquired 105 ECTS credits of BA1 and BA2, of which both course units Historical Practice II are mandatory. Both Heuristics course units must have been taken.

Linguistics and Literature

  • Have acquired at least 105 ECTS credits of BA1 and BA2 after the resit examination period of the previous year.

Oriental Languages and Cultures

Arabic and Islamic Studies

  • Have acquired 105 ECTS credits, of which mandatory all general course units and the course units related to the main subject Arabic and Islamic Studies of BA1 and BA2

India

  • Have acquired 105 ECTS credits, of which Sanskrit I through IV and Hindi I through IV are mandatory.

China

  • Passed Classical Chinese I through IV and Modern Chinese I through IV.

Japan

  • Have acquired 105 ECTS credits, of which Classical Japanese I through IV and Modern Japanese I through IV are mandatory.

Philosophy and Moral Sciences

  • Have acquired at least 105 ECTS credits of BA1 and BA2 after the resit examination period of the previous year.
  • Moral Sciences students must have acquired the course unit Statistics.

 
Conditions for exchange during your master's


African Studies

As a Master's student in African Studies, you can go on an exchange in the second semester. To be able to go, you need to have passed the bachelor's programme.

Linguistics and Literature

As a Master's student in Linguistics and Literature, you can go on an exchange (again). If you follow a personalised learning track (GIT) in which you combine the bachelor's and master's programme, you can leave if you still need to obtain a maximum of 15 ECTS credits from the bachelor's programme. These 15 ECTS credits may not be course units from semester 1 that you have never taken.

Oriental Languages and Cultures

Within all the main subjects of the Oriental Languages and Cultures study programme, you can also go on exchange (again) during your master's.
To be able to leave, you need to have passed all the course units of the bachelor's programme and the language course units of the first year of the master's programme.

  • Middle East Studies: semester 3
  • China: semester 3 or semester 3 and 4
  • India: semester 3 or semester 3 and 4
  • Japan: semester 3 or semester 3 and4
