Marlies Camerlinck

Marlies CamerlinckMarlies Camerlinck received her Master’s degree in Educational Sciences (orthopedagogy track) at Ghent University in 2009. She is currently a research assistant within the RIDDL team, working on the BeLAS study, and previously contributed to the TIARA study. Both are multi-university longitudinal projects focused on the early developmental trajectories of young children with autism or at elevated likelihood of autism. The goal is to produce data that informs evidence-based practices in diagnosis and support for children and their families. A research assistant’s role is focused on data collection through longitudinal follow-up, conducting behavioral assessments and standardized cognitive and language tests. In the BeLAS study, this is uniquely carried out using a LabMobile, which brings the research directly to families’ homes.
