Ferre is a research assistant at the Center for Journalism Studies, where he focuses on online violence against politicians in relation to news media. He is currently finishing his PhD at KU Leuven on fact-checking in journalism, and was part of BENEDMO, a Dutch-Flemish collaboration focusing on disinformation. He has studied Moral Sciences and Conflict & Development at Ghent University, and previously worked in journalism and market research.
