Nora Louwagie

Status: Phd researcher

Nora Louwagie obtained a Master of Science in Sociology in 2022. Her master thesis investigated the perception of volunteer tourism in Accra, Ghana. After her studies, Nora continued her studies in Trinity College Dublin, where she obtained an MPhil in Identities and Cultures of Europe. There, she researched heritage language learners and multilingual families.

In October 2025, Nora started working at Hedera as a PhD researcher under the supervision of Dr. Katrijn Delaruelle and Dr. Melissa Ceuterick. She will focus on loneliness and pharmaceuticalization.
