Hilde Depauw
Status: Postdoctoral researcher
Hilde Depauw obtained her Master of Science in Psychology (Clinical Psychology) at Ghent University in 2020. In 2025, she obtained a joint PhD in Psychology and Sociology under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alain Van Hiel, Prof. Dr. Bart Van de Putte, and Prof. Dr. Piet Bracke. Her research interests include health inequities, culturally responsive mental health care, intersectionality, and the social determinants of mental health.
Currently, Hilde is working as a postdoctoral researcher, studying how meaningful conversations about cultural identity are incorporated into psychotherapy and their effects on psychotherapy process and outcome variables.
