We are pleased to invite you to the Symposium on Evolutionary Genomics, on September 19th, 2025, at RBINS. This one-day event will cover a range of exciting topics in genomics, from adaptation and structural genome variation to functional genomics.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Kerstin Johannesson (University of Gothenburg, Sweden)
Speciation and local adaptation in marine snails
  • Felicity Jones (University of Groningen, The Netherlands)

Functional genomics in stickleback

  • Alexander Suh (University of Bonn, Germany)
Evolution of programmed DNA elimination – a bird’s eye view

We warmly welcome researchers, students, and anyone interested in the evolutionary processes that shape genomes. In addition to the keynote talks, we also have space for up to 9 contributed 15-minute talks and posters.
