Technical-Scientific Workshop
The Technical-Scientific Workshop of the Faculty of Sciences constructs temporary measurement setups for scientific research. Additionally, the workshop is performing repairs to a wide gamut of laboratory equipment.
The workshop comprises of three departments:
- Electronics
- Mechanics
- Glass workshop
Each of the departments has access to extensive machinery/ lab equipment and is supported by a specialized staff. This staff uses up-to-date techniques (3D/CAM) for the construction of setups and accessories.
Beside creating new appliances and accessories, the workplace performs repairs on a wide variety of lab equipment.
Visitors should always make an appointment before coming to our premises.
Please use entrance n° 2 to enter the building. At our counter/ barrier, one should register, ring the bell and wait until picked up by one of our staff members.
For safety reasons, never enter our workshop if not accompanied by one of our staff members!
