About the Student Garden
The Student Garden is an 800 m² open-air space located at building S5 on Campus Sterre and is managed by the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Science.
Students and staff of Ghent University can organise social gatherings, barbecues, receptions and activities there. The garden has ample seating, large shade and rain tents, and a fully equipped bar container with refrigerators and a tap system.

Cosy lighting
Equipped bar container (refrigerators, sink, tap installation, glasses)
Drinks stock with soft drinks, beer, wine and snacks
The toilet container is located about 65 metres away, behind building S5 towards S4.
If the garden is not reserved, anyone is free to use it as a place to have lunch, relax or study.

Reservation options:
June-August: Monday to Thursday
March-May & September-October: every day (except Saturdays and public holidays)
Please note: during the summer months, Cabane Banane(an initiative of local residents) makes standard use of the garden on Friday evenings and Sundays.
